About Jeff Gelder...

Jeff Gelder believes in the power of the human voice, and he’s spent more than 30 years putting that power to work for clients around the world. Known for his sure-footed, commanding delivery, Jeff brings authority, warmth, and presence to every project, helping producers elevate their message and connect with audiences in a meaningful way.

Jeff is also a proud recipient of the VO Atlanta Unicorn Award, honoring individuals recognized for exemplary character within the voice-over community.

His journey behind the microphone began at Q106 Radio Santa Fe/Albuquerque, before moving to Southern California to pursue a broader career in broadcasting and voice-over. Since then, Jeff’s experience has spanned live announcing, on-camera work, radio hosting, and emceeing major events.

Over the years, he’s worked with organizations and brands including the Pacific Southwest Emmy Awards, the American Society of Landscape Architects convention, the Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast, and companies such as Sony, ESPN, Dell, BMW, Jenny Craig, and Toyota. Jeff also hosted his own radio show for many years, interviewing icons such as Tina Turner, Olivia Newton-John, Ted Danson, Woody Harrelson, Rue McClanahan, and Kirstie Alley.

Jeff also founded and serves as President of the Children’s Holiday Magic Project. This nonprofit began as a class project and has grown into a nationwide effort benefiting children spending the holidays in hospitals. Each year, Jeff and a dedicated team of volunteers distribute 7000 to 10,000 custom music and story downloads designed to bring comfort, joy, and a little holiday magic to young patients.

Jeff’s voice has been heard across a wide range of formats, including live event announcing (VOG), master of ceremonies work, narration, audiobooks, commercials, podcasts, e-learning, explainer videos, phone systems, IVR, and on-hold messaging. He also served as the live on-camera announcer for the Pacific Southwest Regional Emmy Awards in Las Vegas.

When he’s not in the studio, Jeff enjoys sailing on San Diego Bay and spending time with his rescue pup, Cameo.
